Phoenix, AZ
Within Phoenix, over 80,000 Seniors are living in poverty. Another 200,000 are living at an income level that offers no safety net when an unexpected crisis occurs. Many of these individuals now find themselves without a family structure to depend on in time of need.
Portland, OR
In Washington County, more than 10% of residents live below the poverty line. And in the Portland senior community alone, there are more than 7,500 seniors that live beneath the poverty line, often with no help or resources to find the stability and dignity they are in desperate need of.
